The Carson Valley Medical Center Hospital Foundation’s annual Fall Classic golf tournament came right down to the wire on Sept. 14 at Carson Valley Golf Course.
The foursome representing Tahoe Emergency Physicians Group claimed the title, winning in the second of two “chip-off” playoff rounds which were decided by whose chip shot fell closest to the designated tee.
Tahoe Emergency’s group finished the regulation 18-hole tournament in a tie with Dr. Evan Easley’s team at 57 in the best-ball format.
In total, 92 golfers competed in teams of four for this year’s tournament.
Proceeds from the tournament go toward supporting and improving healthcare services within Carson Valley.
