Carson Valley Medical Center, a strong supporter of the Douglas County Community & Senior Center is stressing the importance of staying hydrated with the onset of hot summer days.
This vital and potentially lifesaving health message is prominently displayed on all of
the eight scoreboards in the Community Center Gymnasium.
Experts recommend consuming half your body weight in ounces of water every day. An individual weighing 180 pounds, for example, should drink 90 ounces of water per day.
All youth, adults and their families who spend time in the gym for hundreds of healthy activities will see all eight scoreboards proudly sponsored by CVMC. CVMC has provided a financial donation that supports the programs at the center with their 2019 naming rights sponsorship.
